Ups, I hadn’t found one here, so I thought there aren’t any in the wild… I should have asked google first…

Why don’t you upload your plugins? I a few month, everybody will want to have these plugins ;-)

I didn’t feel like it was worth it. Plazes was far smaller at this time.
If I have time I will do so.

A good idea might be to implement this for IE7, too. (window.external.AddSearchProvider()) This requires a OpenSearch provider XML and is better hosted on the Plazes website itself. Then you can also search via A9 and any other OpenSearch compatible application for Plazes and Plazes users.
